Summer Fair & Music Festival

Our Summer Fair & Music Festival is fast approaching – thanks so much to all of those who have returned their forms offering their support, donations and help on the day. We are really excited about the fantastic line up of bands performing at the Festival which include City Lightz, The Alleviators & Cocos Lovers as well as some really great school performances including dance and drama groups. We also have lots of side stalls, bouncy castle, mega slide, 999 services, coconut shy, BBQ, refreshments & beer tent, and games and activities planned for the day so there will definitely be something for everyone!
This is a final appeal to all parents - including those new to the school in September! –carers and their families, to come forward and offer your help on the day. If you have not already please contact the PTFA so that we can plan exactly how many stalls we can run on the day. We will let you know nearer the time which stalls or activity we would like you to help with. There is a special plea for help with set up and takedown – many hands really do make light work – as last year this fell to a very exhausted minority!
FOR YOUR DIARIES:
Do also remember that on Friday 2ndJuly - the day before the Festival - children may go to school in non-uniform clothes in exchange for bringing in a tombola or raffle prize!
We would also be grateful for donations of:
- homemade cakes
- seedlings, plants & garden produce
- toys & books in good condition
Donations should be sent into the school on or just before Friday 2nd July.
We are really looking forward to working together with you to make this year’s Festival a day to remember!
